Option to always show tray icons

I have a 49 inches screen, 32:9 ratio. My horizontal otter-bar is empty, really.

But each time I need to check tray, I must first click the arrow to show the tray.

• example 1 : I want to see if updates are available
• example 2 : I have closed an app window (let's say steam), which is still running and I want to reopen it.

In my situation, this is kind of an "action I shouldn't have to do, which adds more time until I achieve my goal without a specific advantage"

I understand some people would want to hide these icons, but it isn't everyone case :). Could we have an option in otter-settings to remove the arrow and always show all tray icons ?
