[otter-files] Newly created folders lack execute permission (x).

CompletedBug1 votes0 commentsby YeeSaur

When creating a new folder using the file manager, it is created without execute permission preventing entering the folder with 'cd', or normally with other file managers without authenticating. Copying or moving files into it using commands such as 'cp' or 'mv', or through other file managers, including Otter Files itself, is also not possible.

Bug report

Steps to reproduce

Open Otter Files

Create a new folder with "New Folder" or Ctrl+Shift+N

Check the folders permissions with 'ls -ld /path/to/folder'.

Expected behavior

The folder should be created with execute permissions (drwxrwxr-x)

Actual behavior

The folder is created without execute permission (drw-rw-r--)

Environment

MangoWM 0.17.1, also tested on Hyprland v.0.56.2 Otter Files v0.11.129
