[Pikman Update Manager] Not deleting old kernels and filling up the driver

PendingBug2 votes1 commentsby Zukureneno

If a user only updates via the GUI manager it will never delete the old kernels and fill up its driver.

Just tested it with autoremove on my brother's PC which he never uses the terminal unless I tell him 2. (See evidence picture (last cmd of autoremove))

Bug report

Steps to reproduce

Use the update manager GUI exclusively to update.

Expected behavior

Automatically delete the old kernels to evade fill-up and issues like pikman upgrade does.

Actual behavior

Doesn't provide feedback and fills up the driver with old kernels. Can block users from updating or cause other issues in the future.

Environment

Pre-chungus of August. KDE. Latest Pikman update manager GUI

To add to the report it could be the cause of the multiple bluescreens /kernel panics reports we received during the big chungus update of August.
